REFUGEES

Millions of people worldwide are considered refugees. But what does it mean to be a refugee? A refugee is a person who leaves his or her country for fear of persecution due to race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group. When human rights are not guaranteed or have been threatened or violated people flee to save their lives.

These people are willing to risk everything on a perilous journey to reach Europe. What do you think about that? Should Europe be spending money and resources to try to solve the problem?
