BE MY VALENTINE...



Saint Valentine´s day is a special day to celebrate love and friendship.

On this day we give cards, flowers, candies to the people we love. Some people listen to romantic music, write love letters or have candlelit romantic dinners. Popular saint Valentine´s symbols include colour red, the bow and arrow, hearts and Cupid who is a mythical figure, a winged god of love and the son of Venus.

1. Sant Patrick's Day in Northern Ireland and St Andrew's Day in Scotland from 2007 are taken as an official holiday.

2. It's in 17 March.

3. It's celebrated in Ireland and in Scotland.

4. the colour that is the symbol of Saint Patrick's Day is blue.
It's calebrated in Spring.

5.Matching exercise: a four-leaf clover, a cap, a leprechaun, a pot of gold, a fairy, and a rainbow.
